TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions apply to all organisations, institutions, ngo, cso, companies and or persons or other entities (“you”) that are attending any awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs (“Events”) organised by SHHFI, SRICASW & Others (“we” or “us”). Please ensure you have read and understand the following:

1. Acceptance of terms and conditions

By completing the registration form for a particular awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach program , you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below (“Terms”) and they will be incorporated into the contract between us (“Contract”). You will ensure that your employees, partners, agents, contractors, subcontractors and any other person attending the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach program on your behalf shall comply with these Terms. The Contract is formed when we send you a booking/registration/payment confirmation.

2. Payment

The fee for attending the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs (“Registration Fee”) will be as stated on the registration form for the relevant awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs from time to time. Prices are exclusive of VAT/GST or any taxes/charges as applicable, if any, except where expressly stated otherwise. All payments for the Registration Fee must be made in full, before or at the time of completing and before submission of the registration form and in any event prior to the date of the Workshop. If payment and details are not received within 7 days of your registration, your registration will be cancelled and the payment of any refund will be at our complete discretion. Payment will be made via any of the acceptable UPI/Bank account/transfer/Service provider (and you consent to us passing your necessary details to the account/service provider and to them processing necessary information about you) or directly to our bank/UPI account, as notified to you. We reserve the right to run price promotions as we think fit.

3. Refunds

All Payments for the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs shall be non-refundable and non-transferable except as set out in paragraphs 4 and 5 below. However, if you are unable to attend the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs for any reason you may email us to provide us with the name of a substitute only in case of group booking, at-least a week in advance, to attend the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach program on your behalf and on receipt of this email we may at our own discretion, if feasible, may make such substitution and allow the substitute access to the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach program. We may at our discretion charge an administration fee of up to Rs.1000 for making such substitution.

4. Cancellation

There may be circumstances in which we need to cancel the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs. In such circumstances, we will provide you with a refund of the amount of the Registration Fee that you have paid to us and we will make every effort to provide you with such refund within 60 working days of the date of cancellation, upon your application/request with details of original payment account/source/mode or any other authorized account by you along with relevant documentary proof .

5. Postponement or change of online platform

There may be circumstances in which we need to postpone the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs or change the online platforms at which Workshop is to be held and if we do, we shall advise you of this as soon as we possibly can. If the postponement is for more than 6 months after the publicized date of the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs, you may cancel your registration by emailing us and we shall provide you with a refund.

6. Liability and Disclaimer – important, you must read this

Our sole liability in relation to any cancellation, postponement or change of online platforms, shall be limited to the fees paid by you for such awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs and we shall not be liable under any circumstances for any consequential losses.

In providing this awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs, no person is acting as your solicitor/consultant or providing you with legal/medical/health advice. We are providing you with awareness, training, and guidance.

7. Your obligations

If you act in any way which in our opinion is likely to cause any harm or nuisance to any person before, during, after at/in the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs, In case of not punctual observance of the agreed full or partial terms, you will be required to leave the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs and we have the right to refuse or remove you from the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs, and to refuse for subsequent awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs or training sessions. we shall not be liable to refund your Registration Fee or any other payments or benefits.

You must comply at all times with the etiquette, health and safety policy of the venue/platform. You must comply with all requests from us or the venue/platform with regard to health and safety and failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs (in such case no refund will be provided). You may not bring any equipment, materials or items of a hazardous or dangerous or objectionable nature to the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs.

You shall not cause any damage/disturbance/interruptions to any part/services of the venue/platform. You are solely liable for any damage/disturbance/interruptions caused by you, your employees, contractors, sub-contractors and agents to any such area of the venue/platform and shall fully reimburse us in relation to any damage/disturbance/interruptions so caused.

You must keep your online platform controls like audio/video/screen sharing with you at all times and we accept no liability for any damage/disturbance/interruptions to, loss of or theft of any of your belongings or other items/materials brought to the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs by you or loss of such controls on online platform.

8. Promotional materials and materials at the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs

You agree that we may include your details in any promotional materials relating to the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs and/or any materials used at the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs. We are not liable for errors or omissions contained in such information.

Unless otherwise stated, the copyright for any such promotional materials and any materials used at the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs (including course notes, slides, brochures, articles and case studies) belongs to us and may not be reproduced in any medium without our prior written consent.

You may use such materials for your own personal purposes only and may not reproduce, publish or deal with such materials in any way for any commercial use.

We reserve the right to change the published programme, schedule, timings, presenters, contents, freebies (including the publicized speakers) or materials as we think fit.

9. Photography, Recording and filming

We may wish to photograph, record or film the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs and reserve the right to do so for the purposes of documentation, verification, promoting future awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs or otherwise. You consent to us (or any other person attending the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs) photographing or recording or filming you and any persons attending the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs with you. You may not photograph, record or video the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs and share or distribute in any way in private or public, without our prior consent.

10. Data protection, Privacy, Confidentiality, Secrecy

We shall communicate with you using the contact details provided on the Registration Form for the purposes of the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs & Related Communications. You agree that we may use your registration data outside of the European Economic Area (for example by/to the providers of our CRM system, MIS System, Cloud Storage Services, Online Platforms, Google Forms, Zoom Meetings, etc). We shall be entitled to use all of your contact details to the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs contractors/organizers for service delivery.

You commit yourselves to secrecy towards third parties of all information you receive from fellow participants/presenters during the meetings and of which you must understand the confidential nature.

11. Tickets/Pass/Access Card

We shall not send you Tickets/Pass/Access Card for the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs. We will have your name on the attendee list and if you have paid the Registration Fee and completed formalities you shall be provided with access to the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs upon verification/authentication of credentials/identity.

12. Login/Joining Credentials

We shall share the credentials for online platform to access the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs for you as registered participant, which shall not be shared to anyone else, privately or publicly. These credentials are for one device and for one location at a time. you shall not use the credentials for joining from multiple devices and from multiple locations. As it may be unique to you, by sharing/using so, you violate terms and conditions, you will also loose access and forfeiting all benefits associated with it including refunds or cancellation if any, arising of such consequences/acts.

13. Travel, accommodation and refreshments

You shall be responsible for making and paying for your own travel and accommodation arrangements to and from the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs venue/platform. If you are late at the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs or prevented from attending the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs due to travel delays or any other circumstances, we shall not be obliged to provide you with a refund or to wait to start the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs until you arrive. Lunch and others refreshments shall be arranged by yourselves as per your requirements/preferences at your own place/venue/online platform.

14. Disability, medical conditions and dietary requirements

If you have any disability or medical condition that requires us to make special arrangements for you or any special dietary requirements, please email us as soon as possible and in any awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs at least 2-3 weeks prior to the date of the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs, if there are arranged by us, we shall make efforts to arrange as per availability and feasibility. You shall be responsible for making any such arrangements by yourselves, if we are unable to make so due to unavailability.

15. Grievances, Complaints, Concerns, Issues

if you have any Grievances, Complaints, Concerns, Issues regarding awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs/others, Please contact us and we will do our best to assist you and try to solve/resolve the problem. Submitting a complaint to us, does not release you, from the payment & other obligations, if any.

16. Limitations of Liability

Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken by us to ensure security and safety at the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs/platform, we shall not in any way be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you whatsoever in relation to the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs/platform, save that nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to limit the liability of any person for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, any fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability for which it is unlawful to exclude or limit liability.

Our total liability for any matter arising out of the Contract shall in all circumstances be limited to the price paid by you for the awareness/training/webinar/seminar/conference/workshop/symposium/outreach programs and we shall not in any circumstances be liable to you for any consequential loss whatsoever.
